Sly Groupie
Singapore idol is next week and i'm going to miss it cause i will be at melaka then. Nevermind, i'm sure someone will message alvin or evelyn first-hand who the winner is right?? I wish.
I cant help it but fall for sylvester. Hey, its not a spelling mistake, although his name is SYL-vester Sim, he is affectionately called SLY by his voters and fans. Im a self-confessed sly groupie, just that i dont vote for him but i support him! Everyone has been telling me what a lousy singer he is, how he got from bad to worst after each episode, how ah-beng he look, how all the ah-lians should stop voting for him and stuff. Wait a minute, i dont think i am an ah-lian, or maybe i am? Huh. I AM NOT.
Okay ok, debating aside, i guess i am as attracted to sly as much as the ah lians. Er, not to the extreme you see. There is this unexplained X-factor from sly that i really really adore. Right after he cut his hair, changed the colour, sang the cool jazz song on the Big Band Night...viola! He is the man! Although seeing Olinda leave the competition is kinda sad, but come-on, admit it! If its Oli who is in the finals but not sly, singapore idol will be so uninteresting to watch!
You know how 2 weeks ago when it was the boyfriend's 23rd birthday? Chung, bert, ger and clara bought him a cake and we were suppose to be celebrating and singing birthday song or merrily eating the cake, i was, on the other hand, half-anxious to watch sly sing than anything. OK, i confess, i committed infidelity at that moment. I so wanted to watch sly sing, no matter how i know how screwed he can be for the songs he choose. Dear, i am so sorry, but in the end, i help did the cake, i took the pictures, i sang the song, i cleared the place and i got to watch sly as well!
There is a difference you see. Where i can just listen to Oli or Taufik sing without even watching them but i just so need to look and watch sly sing even if he sounds bad and off-pitch or off-key or whatever u call it.
This boy has this mysterious character that is very often hide behind his j-pop rocker style yet when he smiles....ooh...it breaks it all. I just cant wait to see him clinch the title. He is so adorable.
*look, i absolutely have no offense to Oli or Taufik fans who happen to read my blog anyhow, anywhere. I am just a sly groupie, so this is what 8-days termed people like me as.
*and look again, i just screwed up my urban paper this morning. Why do i have to screw and slash at least ONE paper per sem? As my dear says, "You haven't master the art of taking exams" or something like that. Er, probably. Then how do i do it? The answer is to relax he said. Therefore, i blog. I blog, therefore i am.

Exams are getting on my nerve but heck, im only left with ONE ducking piece of paper and i will be done. Off i go to melaka, then to meet the land of Smile - Thailand, enjoying time spend with the boyfriend a.k.a the deer.

tsk tsk tsk...i dun understand it. sylvester is CRAP!!!! i repeat CRAP!!!!! it's cos of pple like YOU are the reason why he's still in the finals, only difff between u and those hopeless groupies is that THEY VOTE, and you don't. the so called "sly" is pure crap i repeat once again. he sings off key, he has weird fashion sense, he has NO star appeal, he's an attention seeker, he thinks he's cool. the only thing he has, the singaporean uncouth ah-beng look. u compare with the original "singaporean ah beng" david yeo, i think "sly" shld have been booted out ages ago. urgh. i dislike "sly". bleah
OH MAN. seems like bert also developed an eye sore over my confession. *suck thumb
