Standard Chartered RUN!

I am back from a good rest and a good good run this morning! Feels great to have finished the run though initially when i sign up, i was aiming for a 10km run below an hour but after not training hard for the race, decided i should just go for a fun and relax one with debbie and the boyfriend. When i reached the end point, the timing was about 1 hr 12 mins or so, hopefully my official timing will be better. It was quite a slow run cause the 10km runners are quite a bugger with so MANY of them running slowly right from the beginning and with a number of them walking several miles. It gets really irritating and difficult to cut across slower runners cause there were just too many of them!

Event was pretty well organized and punctual in a whole and the weather was excellent for running! Armed with my ipod mini, i felt i could have run forever even after a bit of dash towards the finishing line. Next year! My bid will be in yellow and i shall aim for a proper timing for a 21.1 km run! I WILL train for it! Woohooo! Felt so much more confident after this first competition of mine and like what the boyfriend said, i should try to participate in more competitions/race like this so that training/gymming/exercising will be so much more fun with a purpose.

Anyway, the piccie above shows the marathon booklet with two 10km medals and bids, not that i ran 2 races but the other set belongs to the boyfriend. Well done to both him and debbie for completing the run and also im so happy for witchy cause she ran like a mini speedy rocket for her 21.1km run! COOL! Also, despite a knee injury, my cousin finished his run all well and good as well. Heh.

More pictures of ourselves will be up later! Lunch was at Holland V sushi tei, yummy! Gorged ourselves with healthy jap food after a shower at the Chinese Swimming Club. All in all, a fun and relaxing day.

Sheesh, i haven start packing and researching proper for my Hong Kong trip tomorrow morning. I am very excited about the trip lah! Its winter and im sure the weather will be excellent, just went to check out the weather for HK for the next 10 days and its almost always cloudy with a little bit of sun. No drizzle, no rain! Wheeee. It will be about 16 to 20 cel, i am so going to get a nice coat and more work clothes over there! Many many pictures will definitely be taken, so more updates later!

Am actually watching the star awards while typing this and this year, the dresses worn by the female artist are really gorgeous, think its the fashionable baby doll cutting this season. Michelle Chia was so HOT! and gawd, how i wish i can have a figure like her man...so sexy and check out her hair, drool! Jeanette aw looks really pretty and sweet and damn, they are ALL so skinny lah. I should really lose some fats .....and what the heck is with the encore show on channel U with the superstars singing? Weird.
