Dusty

OH'Kay, so i have been reminded by bert to update my blog.

Firstly, a depressing news. I will not be able to participate in this year standard chartered half marathon because the date clashes with my CFA exam. I guess being a more rational and practical being, anyone will choose to do the exam first while they are still young. The boyfriend suggested the sheares bridge half marathon instead but i just dont like the idea of it. I still feel like doing OSIM mini tri this July. Or maybe i should do both?

Finally get to swim after months of hiatus, though it was not a fantastic session cause i was basically huffing & puffing without even pulling any continuous lap. The swim partner did his usual 20 laps and i wish i could be like that! But then again, i was seriously lazy. How am i suppose to pull through the OSIM tri? I suck at swimming seriously. KILL ME to get me going! Argh.

Also, the boyfriend and myself bought a pair of blades each. Have decided to pick up roller blading and hope to skate more often at East Coast. I just love that place and of course the food at lagoon and Macdonalds. Hur. Have been meeting up with my closer JC pals lately and enjoying every bits of our meeting. Next week, we are going to have a hot pot session at nuan's place! Woah wheeee......Here are photos of us doing our skate at east coast and playing ourselves silly @ Minds Cafe two sundays ago (realised i didn even blog about my CNY). Its a very beautiful piece of collage done by nuan, this girl has got some innate talent in photoshopping!

And about my Chinese New Year at home. Well, a pretty short stay but at least longer than my usual once-a-month weekend stay! Had the very first taste of giving ang paos to both my parents and also my baby niece, Sara. Visited sue & randolph and my cute little niece as well, she is so so so so so sooooo small and for a moment, i couldnt believe i was holding on to a new born baby who was barely 3 weeks old then. She is going to grow up to be a pretty girl, she looks like the daddy though, not such a bad thing actually. :p Home cooked food by mum is as good and i made fruits yu-sheng for the family! So we had a little "Lo-Hei" session back at home after our reunion today...gosh, it took me almost two full hours to prepare the yusheng! Its still an enjoyable affair though cause it sure feels good to be able to prepare something for the whole family to try. Here are pictures of my little spin off -

Work wise, things have been looking up and there are slightly more challenges coming ahead. Made a bet with one of the colleagues and he promised me a whole day free session of wake boarding with him if i manage to solve a (STUPID-F**KING-HORRIBLE) case. I am definitely working towards that. Haha.

I have been skipping gym lately due to a change in biological clock these days. I simply cannot wake up before 12pm and cannot sleep before (at least) 4am in the morning. How screwed. I shall now try to make a conscious effort to sleep earlier and wake up earlier but only if work permits. :"(

Anyway, realised im a little random here & there. Shall just sleep.
