Princess on the prowl

H'OK, i should really be studying but why am i still blogging? Studying can be such a bore, especially when you are slowly losing confidence. Everyday, i chance upon an article about the spurring global wealth management industry, the need to look for 'talents', the growth in the asia pacific region with add-ons of HNWIs (High Net Worth Individuals).....why am i still running away from it? I better kick my big fat ass and start flipping through my CFA materials. I am so lazy. Help lah!

Anyway, while i was doing my daily sweeping to clear off all the unwanted emails, i came across a new friend request from my friendster. Well, didnt know i ever have a friend called Alvin Goh, so out of curiousity, i clicked on his profile and duck...he is a women maniac! Im serious! He has 752 'friends' tied to his network and all of them are women...oh no, he should be called a girl maniac instead. I realised he has all the little girls as his 'friends', you know...little girls who love to post cute little sexy pictures of themselves? Hoho...i actually went to click on the profile of a few of them, woah..some can be rather cute but some are really yikey yucky act cute buay cute. So anytime, here comes my point. WHY DID HE EVEN WANT TO ADD ME? Come on, i am already 23, a mature young lady and my photos in friendster are definitely not as if im craving for attention - i dont post bikini pictures, i dont post self taken half blurred pictures to camouflage my pimples, i dont post pictures of myself in sexily clad tube top....why was i the chosen one as well? WTF right? Some people are just too bo liao, i think he is trying to reach his 1000 girly-networks. Freaky hor?
I rejected him, that psycho fruitcake loony maniac.

Okay, i have another point to make. Since i was already in friendster, i started to browse through some of my friends' profiles. Friendster seems like a pretty useful platform to get yourself some updates of the friends you dont get to meet, which is afterall, a good thing. :) So anyway, not yet to my point. I went into alvin's (i mean the boyfriend - Alvin Tan not the psycho Alvin Goh) profile, out of interest and concern, i read his testimonials from his friends...which i've never read since a long time ago when friendster just started. There was this particular entry that ignite some irony and jealousy. I didnt really want to bring this matter up considering that it has been nearly half a century ago and i've pretty much forgiven (but not forgotten) what has happened. BUT, i just cant help it! Am i punishing myself? I probably deserve it by being such a nosy butt right?

Anyway, i miss the sunshine boy in the office! Here are some pictures from our last lunch & dinner before he left for his greener pasture. Bleh.

It's so easy to say you can "forgive and forget" but it's really quite hard to actually do that, isn't it?

I guess you just have to let time heal the wounds.

hey babe,
of course it's difficult, it's so darn difficult! I never thought i will be able to to forget anything...but forgiving can come by with time.

Let time heal the wounds, a cliche but i wont deny its truth. As time pass, i get to see things in a clearer perspective and that definitely helps.

Well, it seems like you know what i've been through? If you do, i hope you will never be in my shoes. :p
