World Cup
Apparently its true, reports have been saying that there will be lower trades and exchanges in the stock market because of the one month long world cup season. The world cup is actually drying up the robust trading volume the market has been experiencing since the first quarter! I didnt quite believe that such a theory works until i start feeling it.
Look, its 2.40 am and i have already been surfing the net for the past one hour. Prior to surfing, i rewarded myself to a long handsome bathe with peach splash for more than half hour. If you discount the hours, yes, i came home at 1230 today! Wheeee. Last friday, i knocked off at a record time of 12 midnight, on the dot! WOW. Amazing. No auditors, lower volume, lesser issues = Happy Shuwen! But make a guess, i bet the world cup frenzy selling and thinning volumes will cease after July 8th.
Argh.
Despite that, i still love the world cup season. At least the break is a good one so that i can start evaluating on everything and esp. on my (executive) career path. Also, the office has been beaming with noisy shouting and rolling eye balls with the guys juggling between two screens while working - for one, their PC LCD and two, the hanging TV LCD with SCV from the ceiling. Wohooo...thats the benefit of having a french boss who is a soccer fanatic himself.
Alright, let me check out the gym schedule and see if i can wake up tomorrow. I probably cant, but it is okay, we will see how. :)
Oh, did i mention it was the first day of school for my boy yesterday? Hehe. He was so excited, like an anxious school boy going for his first day of class though it was merely a registration day. He is cute, i like.
Now, back to some surfing, thinking, reading and sleeping. CIAO.
P/S: Will probably post up some melacca & Jay bee dinner photos the next time i post, no promise when i'll do it though. I'm pretty lazy.
