Rockin' Roll
Yesterday was a fun night, we boogied, photo whored and had many laughs. Sharon and myself went down to Tangs and fixed ourselves fake eyelashes before the rock n roll event start and no, we are not going to show you the BEFORE photo, here is one with our fake lashes attached. hur hur.

It was an event for our team's year-end party and also a bridal shower for our dear poh poh who was an uninformed Marilyn Monroe. Jude was dressed up as Elvis to go with the flow and the rest of the team had to dress up to the 60s & 70s theme as well. Although i was totally dressed up as myself, stephen thought i looked like Seow Fong Fong and Jean as Chen Bao Zhu, that was funny. Now you know why we went to the extent of putting on fake eye lashies huh.
We had our Marilyn for the day danced as Marilyn and Elvis to sing as Elvis, those were all captured on videos so that i can demand for ransom next time. Ha. Because most of us were deliberately dressed up, we can't help it but pose and pose till the cows come home - we were the true blue Cam Whores for the day. Hurs.

We also had two dance instructors to teach us simple Rock n Roll, Chia Chia and Salsa for post dinner fun. My salsa sucks and i better don't plan for any formal salsa lesson, my steps were criss crossed, twisted and totally clumsy. Anyhow, i'm really lazy to continue, let the pictures do the talk. I have posted the rest of the pics here.
The past one week has been a pretty interesting one for us. With alvin still busy with his school-work, i basically have to do part of the hotel scouting myself. Managed to talk and meet up with some of the wedding coordinators from the hotels and now i'm left with two-three choices. Of course all these appointments and discussions cant be done without us fixing a date for OUR day. It will on the 21 December 2008. Friends, please 'diarise' this date and dont plan for any holidays ya? *smile*
Take a look at this place, looks absolutely like a resort right?

The place is actually in Singapore, Changi Village hotel. They provide a really nice and cosy solemnization area by the pool with superb sea view of the east coast. I love! But no, the place is just too small for us. I've definitely learnt a fair bit doing all these and i'm really starting to get a little stress, there are simply too many choices but more than often, i have to keep myself in check of our budget. There are millions and one ideas that keep popping out of my head, things that i plan/ want to materialise to make our wedding a lovely one. Now, just the ballroom to confirm!
Alright, am feeling le tired and my right eye is stinging red again. Good Night!
