Alright, whatever that im going to post really has got nothing to do with the entry title. Just a quick update. I have finally decided on the modules that i want to take after much procrastination and also after missing one dear round of bidding (FYI, i missed round 2A). Well, i suppose things always happen for a reason or some reasons. I missed one round of bidding which then left me with less choice. Im pretty o-kay with the situation right now after devising several strategies for a perfect-i-think-i-can-and-hope-i-can-score-kind-of-modules. Im making do with some econs gem which is strangely not cross-listed with ANY econs modules or didn even preclude econs major from taking it. Weird. But i suppose its a good GEM, the description and module arrangement is so much like my Development Economics, just that, one is a lvl 1 and e other is a lvl 3. I just wanna pray and hope lousy project group members wont come knockin on my door.
Anyway, i forgot to tell weijin that i cant do that leadership mod with her because i haven done MNO1001!
Alright, back to choosing modules. Its really a pain in the ass every sem, trying so hard to find modules that suit your timetable and modules that are not-really-of-your-interest but might be relatively easier. Its as if we are making a life time decision or something, a decision that greatly affects your future because a C is enough to pull the sky down. Erm, probably not that serious but its worst than choosing a boyfriend. You will know by instinct and by heart that when you are in love, you are in love and that someone can never be wrong. A module can just so screw you upside down even when by instinct, you know you will fall in love with the content. But so what? They wont love you back unlike your boyfriend.
So, the moral of the story are:
Love not the content of the modules you choose but love the exam and time slot and also the lecturer of the module.
Also, not to forget, love the friends who are willing to take the modules with you.
N Bullshit to those genius who can score well in every single module. They deserve to be stupid in their next life.
N pls throw stones at those who always love to throw in every single bit of their points just to bid for a module, screw them.
