Stick boy and match girl in love
Stick boy liked match girl, he liked her a lot.
He liked her cute figure, he thought she was hot.
But could flame ever burn for a match and a stick?
It did quite literally, he burned up pretty quickly.

This is an interesting first chapter from Tim Burton's The Melancholy death of oyster boy and other stories. This is one of the weirdest illustration that ive ever read. Had some time before my dinner appointment at raffles city, so was taking my own sweet time browsing through all the books and read some first chapters of a few books. Came across this particular book and i finished reading it on the spot.! Hur Hur. Its pictorial with paragraphs and paragraphs of illustration, go take a look, trust me, you dont have to buy it. Just spend 10 mins at the bookshop and read it. It will be worth your time. (:
