The job in question
3 days have past since i first started work. Working european hours is really tiring even for someone like me, who has been well trained in hall to stay up till the wee hours every night. Work is all fun and exciting, i get to meet a lot of people who are really nice and intelligent. All my colleagues have excellent backgroud and i really feel lucky to be able to work with people like them. Most of them didnt know i am a fresh grad and thought ive worked for some other banks before i join citigroup. Well, so this makes me the youngest in the team other than some 10 odd NTU interns who will be leaving 3 weeks later. Work can be rather stressful and me blogging at 5.24 am in the morning will be a no-no next time. Just had several on-the-house drink from my zurich big boss at e living room and bar none. Tiring but interesting. My colleague said im a poor baby because i have to endure all these on the 3rd day of work. I agree no less.
I have a lot of things to catch up on. Lots of things to learn and remember before the one im replacing leaves for a greener pasture.
Im more or less settled but its only the third day! I have many many more days to survive and i will be on my own when my current mentor leaves. They pay me good i thought, but now i know what i have to sacrifice to deserve the pay. Its no-easy business.
Me? Need to work hard, learn fast and be smart.
Such is working life.

The job is seriously not that glamarous! Yes, its definitely interesting but there are always things i have to sacrifice for. So its all pros and cons...but im definitely enjoying life as it is right now!
Btw, can i invite you to my commencement since you dont work on the 14th (thursday)? Then we can take pictures...and you can accompany my alvin coz he wont have a pass to attend the ceremony!! :P
