Treading in between

So im beginning to realise how important the elements of trust and faith are. The concept of trust can be easily written or said but its definitely not an easy term to play with. Trust is like fire, highly flammable and explosive yet very beautiful when it has the correct sparkle and intensity.

Faith keeps me going, its something very different from trust. The difference is a very thin line but faith is of a better nature. I trust faith to keep my love true and ever lasting, i also believe in faith for keeping him and his heart by my side.

Passion drives my dream, i dare to dream and be passionate because i have faith to keep me going. In life, people do not always get what they desire but we should not curse fate for thrusting us in undesirable situations. Im starting to want to learn how strong and independent i can be emotionally. If all ends well, its because i have the ability to control my destiny, if it doesnt, its because i didnt give it my best shot. Is this always true? When i review my achievements and hurdles, i realised its not but i would want to be in control! I should stop pushing the blame and hold myself up properly for no one else to judge but me.

I thought i might succumb to pressure, i once said i did but it was only because i needed support. The best way to get attention from your lover is to complain about yourself, it was a quote from Shanghai baby but i realised it was merely an act of childishness. I cannot stop him or her from behaving how they would like to behave. I can only control my heart and gear it to faith.

Sigh to the dynamics of people relations. Your career, your family, your friends or your love.

I see people praying for guidance from the lord, from god and im starting to wonder whether my life indeed require spiritual dependence. It has always been a question mark. It never fail to amaze me on how people choose to believe that whatever that they are given in life are provided by god. Do you think you can be best of friends with someone without making conscious effort to maintain the relationship? Do you think what you get in life is given to you because you believe in him? Do you think the people living in the slumps still believe in god when they are given the most misfortune in the world? Must there be retribution to those that doesnt believe in Jesus and hence be condemn to hell, if there really is one?

Alright, i need a new and very steep learning curve to deviate my thoughts from such endless pondering.

you have grown so much since I known you haha, it's a gd thing. trust is earned, faith is not. Need a hypothetical example? trust = knowing your bf won't cheat on you coz he has nvr done so. faith = hoping your bf won't cheat on you for the 5th time. (that's why christians say "have faith" not "have trust".) Good luck for your future.

Firstly, thanks. I guess when you are left at home most of time thinking about what you want for your future as well as looking for what you want in life, you grow.

Secondly, i agree with you that trust definitely need to be earned. However, sometimes its just too bad that some people get too paranoid over certain issues such that no matter how much trust you try to inject into those people, their intuition just repel the trust.

Faith is HOPING and believing that someone wont cheat on you even for the very first time. If there is a 5th, i dont think i can give faith to that someone. Heh. Im not that generous you know?

Lastly, another thanks for the luck! I think ive hunted a good meat. Shall update you if i have the chance to. (:
