I had a really bad dream yesterday, shall not jinx myself more by writing it down. Just had a quick check from the CFA website on the pre-examination preparation and because i needed a second assurance on 'why im taking CFA', i decided to click on the institution's link on ' Who should register'. Looking at the 116,000 of CFA holder around the world, there are only 25% females, 19% age 21-25 and only 5% from Asia. Looks like i am among the minorities and i have yet to even pass my level 1, so imagine the probability of a female, age between 21-25 from Asia who will fail their papers IF there are approximately equal number of candidates of about the same age group throughout the world who registered to take the exam? Imagine also, IF you include the percentage of passes which is estimated to be abt
30-odd% per intake, what will become of your passing chances? Hur hur. Okay, just some
inferential probability estimation, hope it doesnt work my IF way. Shucks. pls study my girl!
