Lycos policy

Allright, very efficient of the tripod lycos team.

2 days back, i started to encounter problems viewing pictures from my blog. In order to find out where the crux of the problem lies, i decided to go back to my lycos server website and to my horror, discovered that they terminated my account WITHOUT any prior warnings. I was mad at them. So, i decided to send an abuse email to them:Original Message Follows:

And within 24 hours, i got a reply from the lycos abuse team:

Your account was closed because our system saw that you had no html
files in your directory and assumed you were simply storing files. I
have reinstated your account with a 72 hour grace period so that you
may
continue to develop your site. Thank you for your cooperation.

We have reinstated your account. However, in order for you to remain
active please go and edit your files so that they have valid file
extensions (ie... naming your HTML files with .html). This is
mandatory
for you to do so that we do not encounter any bugs in the future.
