Taking a break!
Did i just say im taking a break? Its well deserved! I have been running around the whole of today trying to fix things up + going for lectures in between. Nearly didnt even have the luxury to sit down and have lunch. Alvin still wanna complain that i made him wait. True as it is, i did make him wait. BUT definitely not on purpose. Was sitting down with Bee Lian at OFN half of my whole morning trying to figure out the IHG account thingy. After that still have to run down to the hall office. Even they pity me. I wonder why im so unlucky, having to worry about so many things ONLY when its my year to be the FD. Why me? Why me? The more i think about it, the more im pissed off with a lot of situations. They are seriously really not under my control, so what if i have the full say in MONEY matters, ultimately, who is going to listen to me?

Just came back from TH versus Sheares handball match. Cant believe it was as exciting as watching the finals! I was there during handball finals last year and it wasnt even as amazing as today's. They put up a good fight, a good defence, a very good corodination. Maybe luck was not on our side just now. We did manage to pull back while nearly on the loosing end. I thought we might have had a chance to really win back the match and beat sheares hall so that we wont be facing RH for the coming semi. Raffles will be a tough fight, jia you ba guys!
Anyway, before i left for my handball match, i was just about to tell my blog about my economy & space's lecturer.He is really good! Henry Yeung from Hongkong. Dont be decieve by the photo from his website because it totally dont do him justice. I find him quite charming at times...and of course not to mention his ever funny comments about things around him + his extremely recognizable Hong Kong accent. He reminded me of Miks. Haven seen him since school reopen. Think this module is a good take. Maybe alvin might wanna take it next time round if Henry Yeung is still teaching? Or rather, take his lvl 4000 module, that is the lvl up of economy & space. Am starting to feel abit sorry for myself for being 'forced' to drop my urban studies minor, im sure the rest of the geog modules in urban studies minor should be as interesting.
Population Economic's lecturer is a very conventional one. Though he is humorous at time, but i really would have appreciate him more if he is willing to just upload his bloody long mathematical explanation notes onto the ivle. Because i have to book a seat for my dear friend, gerald, so me and nuan had to sit at the last row of the freaking 'big' seminar room that didn even have enough space to fit all the students. (There was one girl who was pathetically sitting on the floor throughtout the whole lecture). Anyway, he made me became a giraffe for the whole 1.45 hours of teaching ( no in between break!). Even though i became a giraffe, i still couldnt compete with the rest of the taller giraffes who kept shifting their long necks around, freaking blocked the rest of the poor giraffes behind. Guess what? This Mr. Population Economics forgot to bring his mic to work! He spoke as if he was chanting, chanting not to us, but to the wall. He is the BEST economics lecturer ever! I will vote for him after my exam finishes. Somehow, he reminded me of my math teacher during secondary school - Mr Tay. The Tay who walks around with his beer belly (but i reckon his belly is due to his over consumption of rice). Though they dont have the same style of teaching (because at least i could hear what Mr Tay was wa la wa la-ing), they are similar, because they are both very conventional! Come on! Everybody uses the ivle nowadays and he still must emphasized that ONE can do TWO things (but not more) at a time - that is, copying the long stretch of math while listening to his oh-so-soft voice. The worst thing is, he dont even care whether the students grade him low for his year end appraisal or not! All just because he is the ONLY one professional in the whole nus who is doing population-economics.
This semester, i seem to be doing hell lots of geog-econs module. Economy and space deals with geography and econmics, so is population economics ( just that, it is in a more mathematical analysis format- i dun like). Was just telling cara that i might as well be doing a geog minor, if nus is ever going to introduce this.
Looking out at A3 short from my window. Flashes of how leroy , tp and kaiming played aganist sheares came into my mind. Think they really really played hard. GoalK is important, and i guess temasek is losing out at this aspect.
Allright. I have taken a really long break. IHG supper, gotta go to show face and because i also have to leave half way for another meeting. This meeting is going to bring me another headache. I HAVE TO BE NEUTRAL! This is all i can say.
