244 pilgrims crushed to death in Mecca stampede

MENA (Saudi Arabia) - At least 244 pilgrims were trampled to death during the haj on Sunday, in one of the deadliest tragedies seen at the annual pilgrimage to Mecca.

'All precautions were taken to prevent such an incident, but this is God's will. Caution isn't stronger than fate,' Mr Madani said.
