That was it!

Hey..i have countable entries for 2008! The fact that i don't feel like sharing still lingers but i reckon i should at least document down one of the most important journey of my life before my brain decides to place it in my memory safe box.

First off, we DID not go to Beijing for our supposed 'honeymoon' trip, i placed a ' ' between that word because everybody treated the supposed trip as our honeymoon while the couple did not. It was supposed to be our yearly long trip but our yearly trip turned out to be BKK instead. Things always happen for a reason - although we have yet to find out what and why but we shall treat it as an unknown blessing in disguise. I know i will hear no end to the story of me being the cuckoo who messed up her post wedding trip by not knowing that she has to apply for a VISA to China until we finally fly to Beijing. The husband quickly whipped up the internet and printed me the Q & A on 'How to be a Singapore Citizen'. Arr, i'm finally going to benefit from the bonus pay out and gst rebate? Although not much till i move to my 5 room HDB, i guess the boy will say i will be no more a second class citizen/ human and hence i'm entitled to fly to China and be treated fairly as a tax payer in Singapore - my future actual home.

Being married feels wonderful, essentially nothing has changed and everything remains status quo since i've been staying with the Tans for the past 3 years. BUT, it just feels wonderful to be married and seeing alvin with the wedding band snug fit on his fourth finger - It just feels good and different. :) So please don't ask me anymore if i feel any different being married, i can only tell you nothing has change if not for deeper understanding and love for each other and oh, for the fact that i qualify for the Women Chartered Law in Singapore. His money is my money and my money is my money! I also learnt from Kai San that in a relationship, there is always give and take so to make things simpler with no grey, alvin shall always give and shuwen shall always receive! Being married feels wonderful, i could not ask for more.
